AC Shadows Reveals Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Material
Players who finish the mission will obtain an special katana in addition to numerous objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-inspired costume for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Third Free Story Addition
This update also brings the game's third free story episode, titled "The Mystery."
